Hello All!
The last time I played/raided had to have been a good 4-5 years ago. Kids are 6 and 8 now so evenings go a bit smoother and thus I've reclaimed a good chunk of free time. I'd like to catch myself up to speed so I could raid at minimum as a casual raider...I'm hoping to tap into your knowledge by asking what the most efficient path forward would be for someone trying to get back on the saddle?
I'm a Lvl 101 Ranger with 12,000 AA's. I'm looking for a bit of guidance if anyone would like to chime in with where I would be best starting/spending my time. I know there is a lot on eq resource on quests but I suppose my priority is trying to level up to 110. - Unfortunately, most of that will probably be 1-2 hours at a time from 8:30-10:30pm est and some of that may have to be solo/molo because I may only have 30-45min here or there on busier nights.
Are there any *must have* items, skills or quests I should make a priority or should I work on leveling first?
Are there any best ways to level up to 110 where I can maximize experience for the time (daily soloable quests? is that a thing?)
My gear is from 4-5 years ago and at the time I had fantastic raid gear but it looks like most of what I have is about half the stats of current level raid gear.
For those of you who don't know me I started in 1999 and played solid, as a serious and consistent raider up through about 2014.
EQ Guild history was: Exemplar, Alarius, Cohort Chalybeius, The Relentless, Darkstar Alliance (where Scorn killed me often for a solid 3-4 months or so) and then to Silent Redemption.
Online resources are fine if I'd be better off just reading eq-resource top to bottom, just let me know!
